A. How To Fill Application

Application forms for the examination can be submitted online by candidates who have completed a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering from universities recognized by Nepal Engineering Council.

NOTE: If your university is not listed, it may not yet be recognized by NEC. Please visit the NEC office for further information.
  1. Candidates can pay their exam fee and registration fee only through the Khalti and eSewa and Connect IPS gateways available in their dashboard.
  2. Log in to the Dashboard:
    Candidates should log in using their registered username/email and password.
  3. Make the Payment:
    Complete the required payment using the secure payment methods available on the portal.
  4. Submit the Application:
    Fill in all required details, select the examination center, and submit the application.
  5. Confirmation:
    After successful submission, candidates will receive a confirmation notification/email.
  6. Candidates who have previously appeared in the NEC examination can reapply through their dashboard by completing payment and resubmitting the application.

B. Fee Information

Exam Fee: Rs. 2,500/-
(To be deposited during online application)
Registration Fee: Rs. 5,000/-
ID Card Charge: Rs. 200/-
Total: Rs. 5,200/-
(To be deposited after passing the examination)
NOTE: Fees once deposited will not be refunded.

C. Required Documents

The following documents are required during the application process:

  1. Nepalese Citizenship Certificate (Notarized Copy)
  2. SEE Mark Sheet (Notarized Copy)
  3. SEE Character Certificate (Notarized Copy)
  4. 10+2 Transcript (Notarized Copy)
  5. 10+2 Character Certificate (Notarized Copy)
  6. Bachelor’s Degree Transcript (Notarized Copy)
  7. Bachelor’s Character Certificate / Documents showing duration of study (Notarized Copy)
  8. Degree / Provisional Certificate of Bachelor’s Degree issued by the university (Notarized Copy)
  9. Equivalence Certificate issued by an authorized agency of the Nepal Government for candidates who studied abroad (if applicable)
  10. One Passport-Size Photo
NOTE: Uploaded documents cannot be changed once approved by NEC.
